I have been going to DAT since living in SF for Japanese builder gel and have been very happy with their service. Definitely make an appointment - I haven't tried to walk-in, but they are usually pretty booked up from what I can see. Kat, the owner, is very meticulous and makes sure your nails come out looking great! I would also highlight that nail art is great here and super reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

I've been going to Dat Nail for the past 3 years and can't recommend it enough. Kat (owner of the salon) and staff are extremely friendly. When you are seated you are offered water or tea and chocolates! Kat is extremely helpful with recommending services and color. I highly recommend trying the Gel + manicure. Thank you, Kat and Team!

I came here for a gel manicure, pedicure, and bikini wax. Booking online was super easy and great for the busy mom who has no time to make calls during business hours. Kat was very helpful picking out colors for me... I need the help! All of the services were fantastic. Each staff member was professional and kind. The place is gorgeous with big white chairs, open space, and a lovely, laid-back music soundtrack. I couldn't help but be relaxed. Kat made the wax as painless as possible. I secretly don't want to tell people about this place, but I want them to flourish. So alas, I give them 5 stars. Especially considering the price!

I wanted to book a mani/pedi ahead of my wedding this year, and this place is right around the corner from me, so the convenience factor is a huge plus! My neighbor also recommended it and said it was one of the best manicures she's gotten in the city, so I decided to give it a go. The website is a little confusing because there are *so* many manicure and pedicure services. Be sure to look through the offerings before booking! I went with a gel manicure and a plain polish pedicure. I arrived a little early for my appointment and was seated right away. (Others have mentioned waiting times; unfortunately the only real advice I can give is to try for one of the first appointments of the day so there's no one ahead of you.) The whole process was pleasant, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. I was offered some tea and a couple of chocolates, which was a nice touch! I still can't believe how LONG both the mani and the pedi lasted. I have usually seen chips or had gel painfully peel off after a week a half, but this time I had to actually go in and have the gels removed - because my nails were growing out, not because of any chipping!
